A chameleon with a broad smile, Ange Benisti has been immersed in culinary culture since his adolescence spent in Brussels.

Born in Israel and steeped in a Jewish upbringing, he developed a passion for cooking at the age of 13, alongside his father, who was a kosher caterer.

Motivated, the determined son took on various part-time jobs as a waiter and whenever possible, worked in the family business. At the age of 18, the young man graduated from the Emile Gryzon Institute, a Belgian hospitality school, and trained in renowned Brussels establishments such as Bruneau, La Villa Lorraine, and Comme Chez Soi, all Michelin three-star restaurants, as well as at La Maison du Bœuf in the Hilton Hotel. Enriched by these experiences, the apprentice decided, at the age of 22, to join his father’s ranks and dedicate himself to elevating kosher cuisine to the highest level of refinement.

Kosher food has always had a bad reputation, so I wanted to innovate with everything I had learned to offer a high-end gourmet version to our clientele.

His passion for cooking and his innate talent have made him a Michelin-starred chef.

In Search of New Sensations

With a friend from culinary school, Ange took over his father’s business and refined the menu with his artistic touch. Inspired by the art he loves and photography, another of his passions, the chef quickly built a reputation for excellence in his field by hosting events all over Europe. Meanwhile, in 2014, the duo opened a pastry shop in Miami, before the dynamic forty-year-old decided to leave Florida three years later to take over the refined restaurant Shiloh, located in the heart of the Jewish quarter of Los Angeles. Eager for new sensations, Ange is, above all, a creator of taste. This avid traveler incorporates original finds into his dishes, true works of art. Excited to share his knowledge, he also develops food coaching and consulting.

From chocolate with lime and Espelette pepper! I dare to introduce new flavors on the menus of the chefs I work with. Or I guide restaurateurs in search of an innovative move to revitalize their business.

Always ready for new challenges, Ange divides his time between Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, and Brussels, where his event company, Art and Food, is a major player in the capital’s prestigious events. His glamorous influence has spread across elite kosher Europe, from Marbella to Ibiza, from Saint-Tropez to Athens.

the food and the art is a wonderful adventure of sharing. We fully engage in the festive moments of life, and when we see the satisfaction on the faces of our guests, it fills us with joy!
